On July 27 2010 a Chappaqua resident reported that jewelry had been stolen from her home. An Investigation conducted by the New Castle Police Detective Division resulted in the arrest Patrick Mazzullo. Muzzullo had been boarding at the residence. He was charged with Grand Larceny in the Third Degree, a class D Felony. Muzzullo was arrainged at the New Castle Justice Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail on $10,000 bail.

Read more...On August 3, 2010 Officer Bruno was conducting speed enforcement on Rt 133 in Millwood At about 6:16am a 2005 Acura being operated by David Reit drove by Bruno at a high rate of speed. The driver increased acceleration as he passed the patrol vehicle. The Acura crossed over the double yellow line and struck a 2002 Honda head on. Chappaqua Ambulance responded to the scene. The driver of the Honda was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital. Mr Reit was not injured in the accident. Reit was charged with several vehicle and traffic violations, reckless driving (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and with the Penal law violation, Fleeing a Police Office (A Misdemeanor). Mr Reit was issued an appearance ticket to return Town of New Castle Justice Court on September 3, 2010 at 7:30pm.
